Obama administration directly spied on the Trump transition team

According Fox News, Congressional investigators expect to soon receive a “smoking gun” report that establishes that the Obama administration directly spied on the Trump transition team, as well as possibly the president-elect himself. The report will be ready either this week or the following week.

As you may recall Chairman Devin Nuñes, R-Calif., described at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference he had seen evidence that the Obama Administration, spied on the Trump campaign’s contact with Russian diplomats. The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources. Never mind that numerous members of congress as part of their duties have frequent contact with ambassadors and officials from every nation to include Russia.

To compound the issue the information was disseminated to the entire Intelligence community listing the names of Trump officials who were recorded. This is a felony offense as the unmasking of American citizens who had contact with foreign officials is prohibited regardless of whether the exchange was a matter of sedition or innocent conversation. That some of that information was leaked and picked up by the mainstream media is irresponsible and just another indication of the Democratic Left’s anger that they lost the election fair and square.
