The New American Society: Zombieland

In the post-Apocalyptic world of the future, at least according to the producers of Hollywood films, people will contract a new type of virus. It’s a virus that dulls the brain, creates an insatiable desire for blood, and raw human flesh. A few humans are immune due to their unique DNA, but still subject to becoming a tasty meal for the infected zombies that wander the streets.

Well, as an observer of culture and civilization, I view the American public as zombies whose only goal is consumerism and conformity.  These new zombies no longer care about God, human relationships, love or community. It’s a culture of selfishness and ambition.

These Americans watch mindless television programs 24/7; they are addicted to their “smart” phones where they share their most private and intimate thoughts and feelings with total strangers; they love to buy poor quality clothes made in Third World country sweat shops by impoverished women and children who are beaten if they fail to meet their daily quotas; and they eat frozen, chemically laced breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that will eventually give them cancer.

In a politically dangerous era that is leading to yet another world war, people no longer complain or advocate for world peace. “Don’t bother me” is the new motto for a democracy that has long since disappeared. Your every waking moment is monitored, tracked, analyzed and measured against the new public enemy: political dissenters, veterans, immigrants, and those that still believe in the Freedom of Speech and the Right to Bear Arms.

Damn it!  Wake up America! It is probably already too late for you, my friend, but at least you can try and instill into your children the importance of thinking for themselves.  Given how you have already given up your responsibilities as a parent to dozens of subliminal kid’s TV programs that overstimulate an impressional brain and teach them how to be disrespectful to their parents and elders, it may be too late for them as well.  There are no more morally based TV programs, just a bunch of big ass, big tit superstars and shallow “want-a-be-Justin Beavers” that your children will attempt to imitate. Most of these so called “beautiful people” have sold their souls to the devil in exchange for fame and fortune.
