The truth behind the veil of the middle east conflict: The ISIS and Pentagon connection.

Spread the word

But it’s not only the journalists who should bear responsibility. It is also up to the citizenry to pay attention to the dangers that come with ownership of newsrooms by corporations. Active participation by citizens guarantees the publication of important stories. Journalists need to be held to account just as much as public figures do.

A legitimate journalist is one that has the ability to “connect the dots,” meaning the ability to see the relationship between seemingly unrelated events and/or persons. A true investigator will not only see the relationship between apparently unrelated events and persons but make logical assumptions and theories that merit further investigation in the hopes of discovering the truth; however incredulous that truth may seem at first.

Now the skill of journalistic investigation is not what you find in the mainstream media today, although there are exceptions. As you may or may not know, the major television networks, newspapers and radio stations are owned by a handful of corporate monguls whose main purpose is to control the content and orientation of information in order to sway public opinion to their particular philosophy or political agenda. To see who these ‘monguls” are go to a 2012 article which appeared in the “Business Insider” entitled, “These 6 Corporations Control 90% Of The Media In America.”

The most recent example of this lack of journalistic integrity is the bias shown by the mainstream media in favor of the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton during and after the 2016 Presidential Elections. I am certainly no lover of Republican policies and leadership, but the Democratic Party is evolving into a Socialist political party and soon to become a Communist party, if Obama or Bernie Sanders are any indications. (Did you know Bernie Sanders spent his honeymoon in Moscow and Obama’s family were all Communistic as well as Muslim?) Trust no one.

The new term to describe the inability for journalists to pursue the truth at all costs is called “fake news.” This fake news appears everywhere and neither political party or governing administration is free from the shackles of corporate sponsorship. Without the multi-million dollar advertisements and donations from corporate America, the Mainstream Media (MSM) would not make its ludicrous profits. Let’s face it no one can run for high political office or stay in office without the support of big business that “buys” its way into the halls of government.  We used to call it a “bribe” but now it is just lobbying.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington starring James Stewart.

I always recall the classic movie with James Stewart called, “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” That movie describes how a young naive congressman is practically eaten alive by the corporate influences that control government. It is a sentimental movie and at the end the young congressman is vindicated, but in real life, the corrupt political machine always wins out and the naive get co-opted.

Now this brief discussion on journalistic integrity is to introduce to the reader to a very serious and dangerous situation existing in the Middle East, specifically Syria.

The Funding and Support of Terrorist groups by Western Allies

You have undoubtedly heard that the United States has been providing arms and ammunition to ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra Front, and other terrorist groups. If you ask yourselves the question, “why would we fund our enemies?” especially after 9/11 and countless attacks in Europe, Asia and the United States.

The answer is quite simple. England, the United States and a number of U.S. allied nations are extremely interested in constructing an oil pipline through the Middle East in order to block the existing pipeline which is controlled by Russia, Iran and Syria. Syria is the only thing standing in the way accomplishing this goal which is why the ouster of Bashar al-Assad, the current president of Syria, is so key.

The last  three U.S. presidents have publicly declared ISIS our mortal enemy, yet little has been done to defeat them. In fact, the only visible gains in delaying the advance of ISIS in the Middle East have been accomplished by the Russians who currently have ISIS on the run. The bottom line is that the U.S. and it allies has perpetuated a war that has killed thousands of innocent civilians and instigated a mass exodus of displaced refugees into neighboring European countries who are now unable to contain the growing crime, rape of young women and the lawlessness of immigrates who have no intention of acculturating or changing their socio-religious orientations. At left is a map of the existing and proposed pipelines that would out of necessity have to go through Syria.

The Benghazi affair was a cover for the transportation of captured military equipment from Libya after the Obama Administration, through Hillary, had Muammar Gaddafi assassinated even though he was a loyal ally of the United States. The equipment was funneled through Turkey then to Syria and ultimately ISIS. Further Turkey, an ally of the United States, allowed ISIS staging areas in southern Turkey and even went as far as training ISIS soldiers in military tactics.

According to a Friday, 14 October 2016 article in the London Independent entitled “We finally know what Hillary Clinton knew all along – US allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding ISIS” the Obama administration was denying that ISIS was being funded by it Arabian allies yet Department of State internal memos were well aware of the situation.  Below is an excerpt.

The face of disdain, arrogance and corruption.

It is fortunate for Saudi Arabia and Qatar that the furor over the sexual antics of Donald Trump is preventing much attention being given to the latest batch of leaked emails to and from Hillary Clinton. Most fascinating of these is what reads like a US State Department memo, dated 17 August 2014, on the appropriate US response to the rapid advance of Isis forces, which were then sweeping through northern Iraq and eastern Syria.

At the time, the US government was not admitting that Saudi Arabia and its Sunni allies were supporting Isis and al-Qaeda-type movements. But in the leaked memo, which says that it draws on “western intelligence, US intelligence and sources in the region” there is no ambivalence about who is backing Isis, which at the time of writing was butchering and raping Yazidi villagers and slautering captured Iraqi and Syrian soldiers.

The memo says: “We need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to Isis and other radical groups in the region.” This was evidently received wisdom in the upper ranks of the US government, but never openly admitted because to it was held that to antagonise Saudi Arabia, the Gulf monarchies, Turkey and Pakistan would fatally undermine US power in the Middle East and South Asia.

I reiterate, the U.S. is funding terrorist groups, directly or indirectly, in order to take control of Syria. In doing so it will negatively impact the Russian economy and enhance the wealth of the energy companies who would then have a monopoly on oil sales and distribution in Europe. In the end, it is the almight “buck” that dictates foreign policy.
